FACE LIFT
A facelift is a procedure where excess skin from non-noticeable area, such as the skin around the ear and hairline on the side of the head, is removed. For this, an excellent youthful appearance is given. Our clinic is the only place that specializes in anti-aging in Japan. Many patients believe facelift is a major surgery, but in our clinic, not much postoperative swelling is seen and removal of the sutures is not needed. From that, a return visit is unnecessary unless requested. The procedure only takes about half-a-day of your time. Daily activities will not have much effect; makeup can be used the day of, and hair can be washed the following day.
With face lift, each patient has different desired outcome, combination and budget. Below is an explanation of common face lift types.
Micro Lift
Micro Lift removes saggy skin with minimal design. Since post-operative swelling is not much seen, by having a procedure with less downtime, great results will be seen with the nasolabial fold which is one of the primary influences of one’s perceived age.
By combining with loop lift or feather lift, a greater effect in youthful appearance and prevention in aging can be expected.
The incision is made about 3cm above the ear, so the scar is not noticeable even when the hair is in a ponytail.

Feather Lift
By inserting barbed thread underneath the skin, this surgery helps the production of collagen, thus preventing the creation of wrinkles and saggy skin. A small lift is seen, although not as effective compared to the facelift.
A scar will not be left behind since the surgery is done underneath the skin. Furthermore, this can be combined with other face lift surgery that removes saggy skin to preserve the effect for long span of time.
The thread dissolves in about 2 years, but the collagen will produce by then; therefore, the treatment’s effect usually lasts about 2~3 years.
